Windows가 가상 디렉터리에 파일을 저장하지 못하도록 하려면 다음 단계를 수행해야 합니다.
- 컴퓨터에서 로컬 관리자로 로그인합니다.
- Windows에서 만든 새 가상 디렉터리 애플리케이션 폴더(예: …\MediaMonkey\)로 이동한 다음 마우스 오른쪽 버튼 클릭 > 속성 > 보안 탭 > 편집을 선택합니다. 로컬 컴퓨터(사용자) 계정이 나열되어 있지 않으면 해당 계정을 추가하고 사용 권한을 모든 권한으로 설정한 후 속성에서 저장합니다.
- 가상 디렉터리에 저장된 모든 문서나 파일을 적절한 위치에 수동으로 복사한 다음 가상 디렉터리의 폴더 이름을 '_old'와 같은 이름으로 변경합니다.
- Windows 시작 메뉴에서 로컬 보안 정책을 검색하여 선택합니다.
- 로컬 정책을 확장하고 보안 옵션을 클릭합니다. 오른쪽 창에서 맨 아래까지 스크롤하면 "사용자 계정 컨트롤: 사용자별 위치에 파일 및 레지스트리 쓰기 실패를 가상화"라는 설정이 있습니다. 해당 설정을 두 번 클릭하고 사용 안 함으로 변경합니다.
In some rare cases (sometimes following a MediaMonkey update), Windows may not correctly validate MediaMonkey as a trusted application, causing it to stop working (it may crash or result in ‘Access Denied’ errors). This occurs because Windows User Access Controls (UAC) have moved MediaMonkey to a virtualized environment, from which it will fail to operate correctly because files and configuration settings aren’t in their expected locations.
The virtual directory is created at:
C:\Users\*current logged in Windows user*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ where it stores all application changes to protected storage folders like “Program Files”, “ProgData” and others.
To prevent Windows from placing files in the Virtual Directory you should perform these steps:
- Log in as a local administrator on the computer
- Go to the new Virtual Directory application folder that Windows created (i.e. …\MediaMonkey\), then right click > Properties > Security Tab > Edit and if the Local Computer (Users) account is not listed, then add it and set the permissions to Full Control and save all the way out of the properties.
- Manually copy all of the saved documents or files from the Virtual Directory to the proper location and then rename the folder in the Virtual Directory by adding something like ‘_old’ to it.
- From the Windows Start menu, do a search for Local Security Policy and select it.
- Expand Local Policies and click on Security Options. On the right pane, scroll all the way to the bottom and you will find a setting called “User Account Control: Virtualize file and registry write failures to per-user locations”, double-click on that setting and change it to Disabled.
